Betsson Group – Mobile Apps/Sportsbook
At the Group, I had the exciting opportunity to be part of the team that launched our debut Native Apps. I took the lead in introducing new features, tapping into fresh markets, and refining the user experience. A big chunk of my focus was on enhancing the Sportsbook, where I rolled out standout features like CashOut and BetBuilder.
My stint with the Native team took a turn when Betsson decided on a new direction. But every cloud has a silver lining: the Head of Sportsbook at Betsson saw my contributions and was eager to bring me into his fold. From there, I transitioned to working on the backend of the Sportsbook, crafting tech solutions for both our internal teams and external partners.
Raketech Group – Web and Apps
At Raketech Group, I held a pivotal role overseeing the operations and expansion of TVmatchen and its affiliated sites across diverse markets. My responsibilities spanned product launches in countries including Finland, Italy, Portugal, and the USA, ensuring that our offerings met regional demands while aligning with overarching commercial plans.
In a leadership capacity, I managed a dedicated team comprising Content Editors and SEO Managers, collaborating to ensure excellence across web platforms—both desktop and mobile—as well as Native Apps. In the realm of advertising, I spearheaded the integration of advanced solutions using GAM to enhance our monetization strategies.
The challenges of 2020 posed a unique situation, especially for a product centered on live sports. However, under my guidance, the team pivoted effectively. We capitalized on the hiatus by refining site content and exploring alternative traffic drivers. The addition of content such as reruns, quizzes, and coverage of niche sports like chess, fencing, and esports allowed us not just to sustain, but also to grow during an industry-wide downturn.
Current Position – Play’N GO
As the Product Owner for Play’n GO’s back office, I bridge the gap between what we need internally and what our external partners expect. My role ensures our back-office solutions are spot on, aligning with both in-house standards and broader market requirements, delivering a seamless and user-friendly experience. Making sure that we are using modern technologies.
